Jade Blue  BA (Hons.), Cert. IBET, TESOL Dip.


Jade is an English language teacher, trainer, and materials developer.  She has authored a wide range of ELT articles, Teacher Guides and Research Guides, as well as writing frontmatter for a number of Teachers books.  Jade works closely with the Language Research team at Cambridge University Press, creates academic training materials for Macmillan Education, and has presented at various conferences including IATEFL and as a Keynote speaker at The Image Conference.

Jade has been published in IATEFL Voices and English Teaching Professional, and has contributed to a Routledge publication on Reflective Practice in ELT.  Her primary research interests focus on learner-generated visuals in ELT, learner autonomy, and integrating life skills into classroom practice.

As an artist and illustrator, Jade mainly works with pen and ink, and specialises in comic-style drawings and characters.  Her work as an artist frequently overlaps with her ELT projects.
